The Vincent in Albert Park! Excellent coffee and the butter milk pancakes with maple syrup and whipped butter are absolutely delicious.
Red Robin on Camberwell rd, Camberwell. Gluten free everything!
Porgie & Mr Jones Hawthorn
Tyranny of Distance in Windsor. Rustic fare, generous servings and chilled out atmosphere. Great Bloody Mary’s to cure the bloody hangovers.
Can go past Cheeky Monkey on Swan st. Best BIG BREAKY in town!!
Roller Door Cafe in West Melbourne. The most friendly service and the most delicious breakfast. You can’t go wrong!
Batch on Carlisle Street, spicey potato rosti is awesome.
Also Bable on Babylon, brighton road elwood – have to try the jamaican breakfast!
The Coffee Pot in Werribee! Best place for breakfast or brunch
Bacon and egg roll from Parkdale Beach cafe. Takeaway and sit and watch the waves nearby.
Dairy Queen, Glenroy. Truckies breakie with chips in suburbia with a coffee for $11!
Another vote for Seddon Deadly Sins (very witty name, menus provided in old story books and the 7 deadly sins appear throughout the menu). Great for lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea too. Recommend the Sourdough Kitchen a few doors down for its rolls and scrolls etc to take home.

Galleon st Kilda – bloody Mary’s all the way and amazing coffee…. Never fails!
And
Eden espresso in malvern – delicious coffee and fab breaky menu! They use the best bread I have ever tasted!
Replete in Kew or Friends of Mine in Richmond
My backyard feeding station : CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST as a must !!!
All organic and free range products.
Only water I use is non organic, its from the tap, coffee made from the rain water was a disaster …

Bluebird Espresso on Johnson St., Collingwood. Good, simple food options for such a small kitchen, great coffee, great space, and friendly staff!
Blueberry cafe on swan street is amazing! I am there every Saturday!!
Traffic in westgarth. Great breakfast and good portions.
Dead Man Espresso in South Melbourne. Love the Rosti. Fabulous coffee!
I rate Cafe Denaro in Essendon, but the winner has to be The Green Refectory on Sydney Rd (Otherwise known as Illy’s!). Amazing breakfast stacks and breakfast burritos and fantastic coffee.
In the actual city it would have to be Mister Close, Swanston st. Fairly,new place but,matches the yumminess of the suburbs. huge selection, great service, damn good coffee.
Maccas mate! Nothing beats fresh in the morning bacon & egg muffin with 2 x hash browns & filtered coffee! It’s like there’s a party in my tummy! That’s the Australian way!

Umm i am surprised that no one has said Replete on Barkers rd kew. best brekkie ever!! Egg Benedict at replete are a ten out of ten grantee.

Cafe Gaia (where else is there pork belly on the breakfast menu?) or Lawson Grove Shop in South Yarra.
Richmond Hill Cafe & Larder, at the Punt Rd end of Bridge Road. Scrambie eggs with smoked salmon & capers? WOW.
It’s always a toss up what to have. Tummy warming baked eggs or roasted field mushrooms,pesto and buffalo mozzarella bruscetta…Livingroom Malvern is always my destination for a weekend brekky!

St Ali at Clarendon Street, Auctions Room at North Melbourne is a must go place for breakfast ! Three Full Bags at Abbostford. Axil Coffee Roaster at Burwood Road. Thumbs up for rosti at Deadman Espresson Clarendon Street
Barclays Café in Heathmont. Multi award winner, friendly staff providing great service, “a delightful location to relax and enjoy the opportunity to meet with friends, business colleagues or clients”. Their breakfast is high quality and the coffee is probably the best in this part of town. Our favourite weekend haunt. (196 Canterbury Road
Heathmont VIC 3151. 9738 2366). Highly recommended!
Does Brunch count? Then Madeline’s, Jells Park Wheelers Hill. You can ride your bike there if you don’t trust your driving.

well for the hangover…. new bloody mary list at the galleon in st kilda… the ‘spanish galleon’ with the olive rocks… team it with the bubble and squeak for all round cure-all…
Babka in Brunswick street, if you can put up with masses of people. For something quieter Gingerlee (Brunswick East) or Mitte (Fitzroy North).
Cafe Denaro in Essendon is a great place for brekky. Their ricotta pancakes are to die for.

Shemus O’Tooles (Irish pub) at Know City. Irish Big Breakky for $15 til 4pm everyday. 2 eggs, 4 bacon rashers with tails, 2 tomartos, 2 hash browns, 2 or 3 sausages, roti bread, 3 big field mushrooms & juice. AWESOME…

Bomb on the “ghetto side” (ie Abbottsford) of Johnston St does a spectacular latte, poaches a perfect egg and has the greatest banana bread on earth… but they aren’t open Sunday.
The scrambled eggs at Cafe Rosamond just off Smith St are to die for… IF you can get a table.
