AFL Football, public transport, coffee culture and how much better than Sydney we are.
COFFEE!
Jesus, everyone has their favourite coffee place here and defends it like it’s the old “holden VS ford” arguments! Call me an uncultured old bastard, but I can tell when coffee tastes shit and when it doesn’t, but I can’t find a grey area. I don’t give a fuck where my beans come from or how they’re prepared, just give me my damn coffee you, you lazy arts student graduate!
The weather.
As a Brit, I’m more than a little familiar with the Brit stereotype of someone who’s always talking about the weather. Believe me, we’ve got nothing on the melburnians!
It’s rain, it’s the sun, it’s a little bit windy. It happens every year, get over it.

AFL. Oh how I HATE football. I am proud of the fact Ive lived in Melbourne for 8 years and managed to still never see a football game. Not everyone gives a flipping damn about football, AFL tribunal or footy tipping. Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Transport Bar, this seems to be the goto bar when people can’t decided on anywhere to go. Seriously people, 1000 bars in the area and always end up at Transport.
