Bar362 in St Kilda is hidden treasure located just across the road from the greyhound next to beacon lighting.
The venue has 2 bars, the main bar has a stage and dance area and the 2nd bar at the rear of the building is perfect for private parties.
The bar is open to anyone and is very GLBT friendly. It’s open Fri & Sat from 8:30pm-3am and has free entry unless a special event is on.
I have booked it out for private functions (they even opened specially on a Sunday for me!) and one of the big bear Southern Hibearnation events was held there this year.
There’s always a DJ or even live bands on.
It’s a relaxed & funky venue but without the attitude or the price tag!
Probably Cabinet Bar in the CBD. Further out, the Peel because it’s my local – and open late, or Camp Comedy at the Xchange on Thursday nights, because Polly Filla is hilarious!
Collingwood World – every second Thursday of the month
