North Melbourne’s Town Hall does a great veggie burger. The Lounge on Swanston street does a great parma – and on Mondays it’s pay the time!! – Lord of the Fries is delicious and iconically Melbourne, as is the good old Shanghai Dumpling House in Tattersall’s lane.

Also there’s a delicious eggplant sambal at Lazzat’s at the top of Lygon street..
Afghan Gallery on Brunswick street has delicious food but the service is fairly slow.

I really can’t choose which is the best. They are all delicious. I love eating in this city!!!
