There’s many great restaurants to eat Chinese food in this city. We’re spoiled for choice!
Even if you don’t feel like going out, there’s always good old Chinese home delivery.
So leave your review – which is the best Chinese restaurant in Melbourne, and what’s your favourite menu item?
North East China Family is a wonderful, authentic chinese resturant near the corner of Flinders Lane and Elizabeth St. Best know for their delicious dumplings, which make a fanastic meal in their own right, but I highly recommend their dinner menu of dishes specific to the North East region of China. The pride themselves on using the best ingeridents and staff are always warm and friendly. My regular order is Pork and chinese cabbage dumplings, and Fried Beef with Orange Peel (w.pancakes).
hmmmm….**shameless self-promotion alert** we thinks our place is pretty good [Rice Queen, Level 2, 231 Smith Street, Fitzroy]! we’re an ‘oriental diner’ so we offer great dishes from across asia. plus you can eat, then drink in the bar, and see a show on our stage on fridays and the weekend. and we’re celebrating chinese new year [14-28 Feb] with a banquet for just $25. **ends shameless self-promotion… ;-) **
Bokchoy Tang at Federation Square has been my fave for the past 3 years. They use very fresh ingredients, and their dishes are delish! The menu is very unique and reasonably priced. Try the Winter Melon soup and the Cumin Lamb.
