Virtually every local pub has a weekly steak night, so you’ve probably had your fair share of decent steaks. Perhaps you’ve had a particularly delicious steak at a restauraunt or steakhouse around town.

    Best I had was Scotch Fillet at PJ O’Briens on Southbank.  I went back with a friend so they could try, and they agreed it was the best they’d had.  Also – I like that the ‘wait here to be seated’ sign has ‘wait here for hugs’ on the side you see on the way out.

    They haven’t had that cut the last few times I’ve been.  Still great steaks, but not awe-inspiring in a ‘go back with your buddy’ way.

    My best steak was at The Butcher’s Grill on Bourke Street followed closely by Charcoal Grill On The Hill on High Street, Kew.
