The place shuts down after about 9:00 pm!! Melbourne has it beaten for sport, arts, culture, music and food - although I will say Sydney has better beaches... And, as King Wally Lewis once said, "Sydney's a nice enough place - its just a shame it's full of a--holes"... As for Brisbane? It seemed okay - but doesn't have the diversity of Melbourne... Unlike Sydney where it takes $17 to get to a suburb. Haven't been to Brisbane, but it sounds like nothing is there anyway. Melbourne's a rather nice looking city too, I feel Sydney is just not as eye catching as Melbourne is. I love our street art, shopping and interesting little places you just stumble upon.
